Shake up happy hour with Grapefruit Moscow Mules!  Fresh grapefruit juice, ginger beer, and vodka are the stars in this delicious cocktail.

Grapefruit Moscow Mules - Four Jars with Grapefruit Pieces All Over

It’s Friday!  So, let’s have a drink. Friday is a day to celebrate and what better way than with a fun little cocktail?  Especially when that cocktail is a Grapefruit Moscow Mule.  So refreshing!

Grapefruit Moscow Mules - Overhead with a Ginger Beer Bottle and Grapefruit Pieces

While I typically stick to wine or beer when I go out, if I’m going to order a cocktail it’s likely going to be one of two things: an Old Fashioned or a Moscow Mule.  Typically an Old Fashioned in the winter or a Moscow Mule in the warmer months.  It just seems fitting to me.

Grapefruit Moscow Mules - Served in Jars on the Table

How-EVER, with all of the fresh citrus right now, the idea for Grapefruit Moscow Mules popped in my head and wouldn’t get out until I brought it to life.  It just so happened that my thoughtful husband bought me copper mugs for Christmas so I could make authentic Moscow Mules.  What a guy!

These turned out so good and were way easier than I anticipated.  A Moscow Mule is typically a combination of vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice.  So, all I did was swap grapefruit juice in place of the lime juice and voila!  We have Grapefruit Moscow Mules.

Is it happy hour yet?!

I’m not a big drinker – ok so I dont drink at all – but these look and sound so good! My drink of choice would definietly have to be something fruity!

These would be tasty without the vodka too! Very refreshing 🙂
