Crescent Roll Cinnamon Rolls

The easiest recipe for semi-homemade cinnamon rolls is the perfect start to your day!
Prep Time10 minutes
Cook Time15 minutes
Total Time25 minutes
Course: Breakfast
Cuisine: American
Servings: 6 cinnamon rolls

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce can crescent rolls*
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1-2 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a 9x5" loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough from the can and pinch the seams together to create one square/rectangle crescent roll.
  • Brush the dough with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll the dough up, as you would cinnamon rolls, into a log.
  • Cut the log into 6 equal pieces and place into greased loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until slightly golden.
  • While the rolls are baking, make the frosting.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk.
  • Drizzle the frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

    • This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled.
    • If you can find canned crescent sheet, this is the perfect recipe for it.
    • I like to bake this in a loaf pan, but a round cake pan or 8x8" baking dish will work well, too.
