For the Blueberry Compote:
- 1 pint blueberries washed
- 1 large clove garlic minced
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
For the burgers:
- 4 Jennie-O Seasoned Turkey Burgers
- 4 pretzel buns or regular sandwich buns
- baby spinach
- 4 ounces crumbled goat cheese
To make the blueberry compote:
Combine blueberries, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil and slightly crush the blueberries with a spatula.
Simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
To make the turkey burgers:
To assemble:
Place a handful of baby spinach on bottom of each pretzel bun and top with turkey burger.
Top turkey burger with a couple of spoonfuls of blueberry compote and crumbled goat cheese.
Top with other half of pretzel bun and serve.
