Instant Pot Korean Meatballs

Korean-inspired meatballs made in the Instant Pot - perfect for an easy dinner or appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang Korean Chili Paste
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the sauce:

  • ½ cup hot pepper jelly
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang Korean Chili Paste
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Directions:
  • In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Form into ~1 tablespoon sized meatballs. You will have approximately 20 meatballs total.
  • Turn Instant Pot or pressure cooker onto saute/brown setting.
  • Add oil.
  • Once oil is hot, add your meatballs. You may have to do this in two batches.
  • Brown for 2 minutes, flip and brown for 2 more minutes. Repeat with second batch if necessary.
  • Add all the meatballs to the pressure cooker.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients, and pour over meatballs.
  • Secure pressure cooker lid.
  • Cook on high for 10 minutes.
  • Let the pressure slowly release for 5 minutes and then release the valve.
  • Serve meatballs over rice and vegetables.
  • Enjoy!
