Valentine's Day Dinner Party Menu

Every year, instead of going out on Valentine's Day, we get together with our friends for a PALentine's Day dinner. Some years it's been fancier dinners, like steak and risotto, while other years it's been more simple things like tacos. The idea is that we're together, with friends, showing our love for them!

This year we are hosting the Valentine's Day dinner in our new kitchen, and I'm super excited about making a fun, fancy-ish dinner. That said, when cooking for 10 people, it also needs to be dishes that are fairly simple and don't require a lot of last minute hands-on. I thought it would be fun to share a fun Palentine's Day menu, that is great for preparing for a large group, and perhaps inspire other people to host a Valentine's Day (or Palentine's!) dinner party!

Appetizers:

Honey Walnut Cream Cheese Stuffed Dates

Trader Joe's Charcuterie Board

Main Course:

Easy Chicken Marsala - The chicken is cooked in the sauce, which keeps it tender and is pretty forgiving on the cooking time.

Butternut Squash Risotto with Crispy Pancetta - Roast the squash and crisp the pancetta ahead of time, and just finish off the risotto with the last few cups of broth at the last minute!

Brown Butter Roasted Brussels Sprouts - my go to veggie side dish. They're just the best!

Dessert:

Chocolate Cheesecake with Raspberry Sauce - SO good and perfect for Valentine's (and PALentine's!) Day. This is ideal to make the day in advance!
