the honeymoon
Well, the vows have been said, the dancing has been danced, the wine has been drank, and the (official) honeymoon is over. Since we don't have many wedding pictures yet, I thought I'd share the fun we had on our honeymoon, which we spent in Northern Minnesota at Marc's parents (or should I say, my in-laws?) cabin. Here's what we did:
Started off the by saying 'adios' to the wedding diet with rich, calorie-filled crab cake eggs benedict and an (un-pictured) chocolate croissant:
Watched Maddie have the time of her life running around off-leash (this was in the stage where we were still nervous parents, so we still had her dragging her leash around):
Oh, hey husband.
We ate lots of fried food:
Drank our coffee with a beautiful view:
Drank our wine with a beautiful view:
Put whipped cream on our pancakes:
Did lots of hiking:
Took (lots of) pictures of Maddie in odd/cute sleeping positions:
Had my first pumpkin beer of the year:
Ate cheese and prosciutto for dinner:
Followed by graham crackers with pink frosting for dessert:
Enjoyed beautiful views (holding hands, of course, because it was our honeymoon!):
Took more pictures of our dog:
Yep, we have turned into those dog people.
Enjoyed our time as a happy, happy family:
