Want to know what you should never do? Watch The Bachelor with your husband. Or at least not with my husband. So many questions, and way too much rational thinking. Can’t we just agree this show is ridiculous but continue watching it for the sake of watching trashy TV?! Also, is there anything worse than the final episode of The Bachelor? So many awkward moments…so much cringing.
On the flip side, want to know what you should definitely do? Obviously make this ginger pear and carrot juice. It is taaaasty. I love the combination of pear and ginger, so used that as the basis for this particular juice, and then I “beefed” up the veggie factor by adding carrots.
I have found that adding carrots is a great way to add nutrients without changing the flavor at all. I was a little nervous about using the fresh ginger, as I was afraid it would be too overpowering but I ended up loving the flavor it gives this juice. It is sweet but tangy with a little zing from the ginger. The tangy came from the lemon and if you want to keep it on the sweeter side, I would say leave it out, or only use half. Regardless, this juice is a bright and cheery way to start your day!
