Happy Friday! This week pretty much flew by with Labor Day and I couldn’t be happier. No big plans this weekend except a trip to the farmers market and enjoying some cooler temps that are predicted here in Minneapolis. I’m pretty sure some more baking will sneak its way into there too 😉 Here are my favorites from this week! Enjoy!
Favorite How-to: How to Package Preserves for Gifts from Completely Delicious. This tutorial is seriously making me sad that I didn’t can this year. But who knows, maybe I will get the bug this weekend at the farmers market?!
Favorite Reason to Make a Trip to the Apple Orchard ASAP: Apple Half Slab Bars from Chocolate Moosey. It’s like pie in a bar form…genius!
Favorite Fall Salad: Brussels Sprout Chopped Salad with Warm Bacon Vinagirette. Brussels Sprouts. Bacon. ‘Nuff said.
Favorite Sunday Sweatshirt: I could live in The Champ Pullover by hello.
Favorite Never-Thought-It-Could-Be-Done: Vegan Caramel Sauce from The Law Student’s Wife. I’m not vegan (see above) but can appreciate when very un-vegan things become veganized. I’m making this caramel sauce this weekend to drizzle on everything this fall!
Favorite One Last Bite of Summer: Watermelon Caprese with Balsamic Vinaigrette from Cooking and Beer. So much freshness in one salad!
Favorite Fall Decorating DIY: Love the simplicity and warmth of this centerpiece…perfect for the fall!
Favorite Classic: Classic Wedge Salad from Eat the Love. Do wedge salads make anyone else think of that Modern Family episode where Phil has a wedge salad for the first time and raves about it to Claire, who then flips out because she’s been telling him for years how amazing wedge salads are and he never listened to her? Love that show. Anyways, ya gotta love a classic wedge salad and this one from Eat the Love is rockin’.
Favorite Drippy Drip: The Ultimate Egg Sandwich from Just a Taste. I’m a fool for runny eggs and this sandwich claims to be the ultimate runny egg sandwich! I am going to have to do some serious looking into this…
