Rolo Pretzel Turtles are a super easy and even more delicious holiday treat!
Happy Friday! Let’s just continue on this sugar train, shall we?
First we had the Chewy Ginger Cookies and then Salted Caramel Ritz Cracker Cookies and now are you ready for another insanely easy and delicious holiday recipe?
These little Rolo Pretzel Turtles definitely surprised me. I mean, I knew they would be good but I didn’t know they’d be GOOOOOD, y’know? Like, can’t-ever-just-have-one kinda good.
We made these Rolo Pretzel Turtles during our cabin baking weekend, and it was really nice to have a recipe in which the most difficult part was unwrapping all of the Rolos. Aside from the unwrapping these pretzel turtles are as easy as one (putting a bunch of lattice pretzels on a baking sheet), two (topping them with Rolos and baking for 3-5 minutes), three (topping with pecans)!
That said, the recipe for Rolo Pretzel Turtles is pretty loose as far as how many pretzels, Rolos, and pecans you need. I just bought a regular size bag of the pretzels, two bags of Rolos, and a 3 cup bag of whole pecans. The Rolos ended up being the limiting factor, as we had lots of pretzels and pecans left over.
These Rolo Pretzel Turtles are the perfect addition to a holiday cookie tray – they’re small, easy to transport, and like I said – SO easy to make!
