Peanut Butter Banana Yogurt Popsicles

Super simple and super easy Peanut Butter Banana Yogurt Popsicles are a great end of summer treat! And toddler approved!Peanut Butter Banana Yogurt Popsicles

Right in the nick of time I'm sneaking in one last super summery recipe!  I've been making homemade popsicles all summer for a snack/teething relief for Lars and also as a healthy dessert option for us and have been meaning to share a recipe with you this whole time.  The thing is, we keep eating them before I can photograph them!

We've made combinations of berries and yogurt, berries, banana, and yogurt, and mango and yogurt, but today's combination of bananas, peanut butter, and yogurt just might be my favorite - they are super creamy!

As it turns out, popsicles are definitely an outdoor and/or no clothes snack to give a toddler.  If I'm giving it to Lars inside in his high chair, I'll just take his clothes off, let the popsicle soften a bit and cut it into chunks for him to pick up.  The easiest way, though, is to give it to him outside and let him have his way with it.  This usually results in an outfit change/bath/dip in the pool but life isn't as fun without the mess, right?!

I used my go-to yogurt, Stonyfield's Whole Milk Plain Yogurt in these pops and I have to say - I think the fact that I used whole milk yogurt definitely helped keep the yogurt pops extra creamy.  While you could probably technically use low- or non-fat yogurt, I don't think you'll have as good of results as you will with whole milk.  Believe me, the extra fat and calories in the whole milk yogurt is definitely worth it!

Okay, now before all the fall foods take over, make yourself a batch of yogurt popsicles, sit on the patio in the summer sun and soak it all up!
