Happy Friday! Any big plans for your weekend? I am looking forward to a low-key weekend with a long run on Saturday morning, a trip to the farmers market, and hopefully getting some more organizing done around the house. We’ve already been in our house over a month and there’s still so much to do. No one told me keeping a whole house clean and organized was a full-time job! Have a great weekend…enjoy my favorites from this week!
Favorite Salty Snack: Sea Salt and Vinegar Popcorn from Bake Your Day. I love love love salt and vinegar chips and I love love love popcorn so you can only imagine how much I would LURRRRRRVE this sea salt and vinegar popcorn. Making, ASAP.
Favorite Healthy Dessert: Berry Frozen Yogurt from Crunchy Creamy Sweet who made it from Donna Hay’s new cookbook “Fresh and Light.” This frozen yogurt looks fresh and light, indeed!
Favorite Summer Weekend Outfit: The Toms! The striped shirt! Those adorable shorts! I want it all.
Favorite Blast from the Past Treat Made Homemade: Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bars from Chelsea’s Messy Apron. You guys remember those Good Humor ice cream bars right?! They were one of my favorite treats as a kid and I cannot wait to make them myself! p.s. Chelsea has a strawberry version too…swoon!
Favorite Macaroni and Cheese Meets Taco Night Dish: Baked Tex Mex Macaroni and Cheese from Cook Like a Champion. More cheese with my Mexican food? Yes’m.
Favorite Summer Nails: Pastel French manicure. Too bad I could never in a thousand years do this myself..will someone come paint my nails for me? Pretty please?
Favorite Reason to Load up on Whipped Cream: Strawberry Shortcake Egg Rolls from Miss in the Kitchen. Holy moly these look delicious!
Favorite DIY that I DID. MY. SELF: I made these Restoration Hardware inspired shelves for above the toilet in our master bathroom and I am in love with them. They were super simple to make and bonus: they cost about $550 LESS than ordering them from Restoration Hardware. Winning.
Favorite Reason to Hop on the Burrata Train: Peach Burrata Bacon Quesadilla from Running to the Kitchen. I keep making a mental note to buy burrata cheese and I haven’t done it yet. I’m pretty sure this combination of peaches, bacon, cheese, and basil is too incredible to forget.
Favorite Thought For The Weekend: So be sure to drink some good coffee, sip on tasty wine, and spend it with the best people you know.
