So when Daily BuzzFood sent out an email with an opportunity to try out Panera’s soups, I jumped at the chance. Since I ate at Panera on a regular basis while in grad school, I told myself I was going to use this opportunity to try something I’ve never had. Like their Sonoma Chicken Stew with Cheese Biscuit. Umm YUM! But when it came time to order, I caved. I just had to have my Broccoli Cheddar Soup. Something about the rich and creamy cheese soup paired with big chunks of broccoli and carrots paired with a big chunk of bread warms me up and satisfies my belly every time. Marc went with his usual order as well, the French Onion Soup in a sourdough bread bowl. I guess we’re both creatures of habit. Hey, we know what we like!
Really, you can’t go wrong with any of Panera’s soups. Or anything on their menu, really. I’ve had all of their regular rotating soups, and while Broccoli Cheddar is my all-time favorite, I also love the Vegetarian Creamy Tomato soup paired with their Tomato, Mozzarella, and Basil Panini, or the Black Bean Soup with their Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich. I guess that’s why I keep going back…there are just so many good options to choose from!
