Soren's Favorite Things: 6 Months

Happy Wednesday!  To go along with Soren's 6 month update from two weeks ago, I thought I'd follow it with a little list of his favorite things at the moment.  You'll notice there are a LOT of teething toys.  I don't know if any of his teeth are close to coming in or not, but he definitely likes putting toys in his mouth!

Keekaroo High Chair - This is the same high chair we had for Lars, and now it's being passed down to Soren.  It's great because it blends in with the other dining room furniture, isn't too big, and provides a good amount of support.

Teething Necklace - My sister-in-law got one of these for me and it has been so handy to have!  It's super easy to throw in my diaper bag, give to Soren while he's in his carseat, or wear while I'm nursing him to give him something to play with.  Plus - it's cute!

Lil Teethers Teething Toys -  This is another one of those easy things to throw in the diaper bag or just have lying around to give to him whenever he needs a toy.  I also love that it's freezer-friendly so when he does start to teeth I can give it to him cold to ease some pain.

Munchkins Twisty Figure 8 Teether - Not only does Soren like to put this in his mouth, but it also twists, and he likes to move it around.

Play Shade - I bought this before we went to Florida and it was such a lifesaver at the beach and pool. It was perfect to keep Soren out of the sun and he also took a few naps in it.  Now we've been using it in our yard to keep him shaded in our tree-less yard.  While he doesn't stay in it as long as he did two months ago (he's sliding and rolling around everywhere now!), it's still really nice to have a home base to put him back to so he stays protected.

ErgoBaby 360 - We use this a lot!  Well, I should clarify - I use it a ton when we are out of the house.  I don't use it a ton at home since Soren typically doesn't mind sitting in his infant seat or activity center, or just rolling around the ground.  Some nights when he starts to get fussy around his bedtime and I'm trying to make dinner, I'll pop him in here and he loves it.  Lars insisted on being held much more than Soren when he was a baby so we used the baby carrier at home a lot more for him.  With Soren, I bring it to Target, we go on walks with it with Lars while he's biking, and basically anything that I might typically use a stroller for.

Drool Pad for ErgoBaby - Soren drools.  A LOT.  This drool pad is great because I can easily take it off and wash it instead of having to wash the entire Ergo Baby.  Plus, it's cute!

Lil Critters M00sical Beads - It's soft, it's hard, is bright and colorful, and it makes noise.  What's not to love about this little guy?

Skip Hop Activity Center -  Soren LOVES this thing.  My mom got it for him for Christmas and in the past month he has really gotten into it.  The chair part spins so he can move himself around to play with the different toys.  It's also smaller than other activity "saucers" that I've seen which is always nice.

Crinkly Paper - I think babies like these because they're soft and bendable but also make a fun noise.  Soren sure does seem to enjoy it!

I think that's it for now.  Like I said, a lot of the things he likes are things he can put in his mouth.  I guess that's just the phase we are in right now!
