Yeahhhh Friday! This week has gone suuuper quick for me, between new job orientation (!!!), short days at my current job, and looking forward to the weekend, Friday has arrived before I could even blink an eye. Marc and I are headed up North to the cabin this weekend to relax and unplug. Have a good weekend, friends!
Favorite Snack: Skinny Poolside Dip. Give me a bowl of this, some chips, a cold drink in my hand and I’d be set for a day at the pool. Okay, I guess I need a pool to sit by too. Details…psssht.
Favorite Mind Blower: One Pot Wonder Tomato Basil Pasta. No, seriously…everything is made in just one pot. You won’t believe it when you see the final dish.
Favorite Use For My Never Ending Basil Plant: Riccota with Lemon, Basil, and Honey Bruschetta. My new obsession is raw honey…have you had it?! The flavor of the honey is completely amplified and I can’t get enough of it. This bruschetta looks ahh-mazing.
Favorite ‘In My Dreams’ Kitchen: Pottery Barn, you’ve done it again. I want it all – the chalkboard, the gorgeous island and pot hanger, the pretty white cabinets, the sink, and of course the EAT sign. Favorite Sandwich: Roasted Beet, Hummus and Feta Sandwich. I could gobble this vegetarian sandwich up for lunch every day of the week!
Favorite ‘I Would So Make This If It Didn’t Require Turning My Oven On’: Gouda and Bacon Macaroni and Cheese. We have a big block of smoked gouda cheese in the fridge just waiting to be used but I can’t imagine having to turn the oven on right now. We turned it on for a hot second tonight to make pizza and now I’m sweating just sitting here in front of the A/C unit.
Favorite Room: I think I’d wake up in a good mood every day if I woke up in this room. The colors, the light…it all seems so peaceful and happy!
Favorite I’ve Died And Gone To Heaven: Vanilla Rumchata Milkshake. I know what I’m having for dessert this weekend…
Favorite Simple Summer Meal: Peach Caprese Salad. Ohh the freshness in this! I can just taste it from these pictures.
