Favorite meal to balance out the indulgence: Chinese Chicken Salad.  This looks just like one I order from one of my favorite restaurants.

Favorite outfit: I cannot wait until the weather is nice enough for me to wear an outfit like this…and without a coat.  Oh to wear capris and flats again!

Favorite fun weeknight mealSpicy Chicken Soba Noodles from The Lemon Bowl looks like the perfect way to spice up a week night!

Favorite vegetarian meal: These protein-packed veggie burgers from Veggie and the Beast.  I am seriously always looking for a good, solid veggie burger.  One that I could feed to Marc and satisfy his meat-loving belly but not clog our arteries…these definitely look like they would do the trick!

Favorite over-the-top dessertAlmond Joy Cheesecake.  Seriously, one of my favorite candy in the form of cheesecake?!  I die.

Favorite funny-only-because-these-kids-aren’t-mine: I saw this floating around Pinterest around Christmas, but I ran across it again this week and I’m pretty sure it gets funnier every time I see it.  Oh the joy!

Favorite giggle: I saw this on Instagram this week and it makes me giggle.  Anyone with an iPhone knows this feeling…right?!

Favorite kitchen decoration: When I envision my ideal kitchen, I see this Cuisine Fork Kitchen Roll Organizer from Pottery Barn on my wall.  How useful and adorable!

All-time favorite thing from the week: a delicious, home-cooked meal made by my husband.  He even made The Pioneer Woman’s recipe for Pasta Carbonara!  It just melts my heart to think of him chopping onion, mincing garlic, and looking through The Pioneer Woman’s step-by-step pictures to make me dinner.  He even had a glass of wine waiting for me when I got home.  Yep, he’s a keeper.
