For those of you who come here often, first of all, thanks! But you’ve probably noticed some changes to g&c. This weekend I (along with a ton of help from my step-dad….thanks Greg!!!) took the plunge from blogging through blogger to WordPress. While I think this will ultimately be so much better for g&c in the end, it has been a pretty big royal pain in the butt for the past 2 days.
My old blog design is only compatible with blogger, so the design is the most obvious change, but I’m also working to make g&c better for you! This will include a user-friendly recipe index, printer-friendly recipes and will hopefully just be easier to navigate. So bear with me. We’ll get through this together.

It’s a royal pain in the butt – hang in there my dear!
Good luck on getting this all fixed! I know it is really confusing.
Thanks Mellissa! Your tips really helped!
okay LOVE the new blog!! and i’m contemplating switching to wordpress so i’d love to get your thoughts and find out more!
also–i’m going to be with my fam in MN this weekend to see my brother and my mom asked me to find a good restaurant in St. Paul for us all to go to on Saturday night…mid-ranged in price…any thoughts?!
Thanks Natalie! It’s definitely not even close to being done yet….it’s sort of a big headache but from what I’ve heard it’s worth it in the long run. About St Paul restaurants – there are so many good ones! I know you’ve been to Blue Door Pub, so won’t suggest that though it’s one of my favorites
There are a lot of fun places around Grand Avenue like Brasa, Salut, and Scusi and then downtown like Black Sheep Pizza and Barrio… Heartland is amazing but a little expensive. Don’t forget to go to Izzy’s again!
Love the new look Taylor!
