Fall Trail Mix
Fall Trail Mix is a yummy treat snack mix that is a combination of roasted peanuts, candy corn, and M&M's! The sweet and salty combination is one of my favorite fall snacks.
So here's what's going to happen. First, you're going to love me. This fall trail mix recipe is some good stuff. Then, you're going to hate me. Because it is addictive and you wont' be able to stop eating it...I know from experience. I wouldn't have even thought of posting this as a recipe but after talking to my co-workers about it I realized that not everyone grew up eating this combination. It's the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and chocolate. It's also fun to pair together the different flavors: candy corn and peanut, m&m and peanut, all three together. It's like a party in your mouth.
Like I said, this no-bake trail mix is barely a recipe, but it is such a delicious combination of flavors. Seriously, the total time to make it is about 3 minutes! It could even be adapted with other ingredients such as the pumpkin shaped candy corn, caramel corn, popcorn, Reese's pieces, raisins, chocolate chips, dried cranberries, some pumpkin shaped pretzels, and cashews or other nuts that you like. The pretzels would give this mixture a nice crunch and the popcorn would bulk it up a bit and make it a big batch.
This fall snack mix is a great Halloween or Thanksgiving treat for kids and adults alike! This also makes a fun Halloween gift for teachers or bus drivers!
